Do I need to have specific skills to be a volunteer?
No experience is required to become a nursery volunteer. We provide training. We also value the knowledge and skills volunteers bring to our organisation – we love to learn too!
Volunteering with us is a great way to:
- Help the USN to preserve and build diversity in Tasmania’s environment
- Learn more about Tasmania’s native plants
- Enjoy the company of other people who care for our environment
- Develop new skills and share knowledge with others
If you are interested in volunteering with the USN, please reach out by email and we will be in touch with you. We will let you know about volunteering opportunities that might suit you as they become available.
